Police Constable Cathy Marshall was a police officer in the long running ITV drama The Bill. She arrived at Sun Hill to fill the role of collator but had spent several years on the beat and even had a commendation to prove that she was more than a desk-bound clerk. She was married to a CID officer for ten years but had suffered from domestic violence during the relationship. Marshall spent some time in the Domestic Violence Unit but found that this, like the collator's job, didn't really suit her. She returned to the beat but drowned in mysterious circumstances whilst chasing a suspect.
