The Arcadian Empire is a country on Planet Bob, with the capital being Arcadia. The Empire is a large nation, with a diameter (at widest length) of almost 2200 miles (3550 km). Today, the Empire is ruled in a Capitalist Democratic fashion, different from many other countries in combining two governments quite effectively. It is a matured nation of over 1200 days in existence and with just under 100 000 tax-paying citizens. With no full data on total population, recent figures show that all citizens (not just tax payers) may border around 150 000-160 000. From its beginnings, it has been a permanent member of the Legion, and celebrated their one year anniversary as a Legionnaire on July 11, 2008 and subsequently on the same date since then.
