The 1951-37 was a Grand National (now Sprint Cup) event held at Marchbanks Speedway on October 28, 1951. Many of the sport's best drivers, including eventual season champion Herb Thomas elected not to make the long trip west to Hanford, CA. That was just fine to Danny Weinberg, who held off Marvin Panch for his only series victory. Stats
