The Anachronistic Biochemical Substance Eliminator, or Whatsit for short, is a device used primarily by the DIC and Despatch. It is part of the standard Despatch Kit. It is used when transdimensionally-snatched characters have ingested substances that their systems might not be able to handle. It removes all traces of the harmful substances from their systems. However, if it doesn't have a setting for the exact species of the character in question, things can get a little messy.
