The Cygnetans were a sentient alien civilization, native to the Alpha Quadrant or Beta Quadrant. A Cygnetan dancing girl stole Vung's lucky charm while he was sleeping. (DS9 novel: Warchild) It is unclear if this species can be considered in common with the Cygnians.
