Amestrius(あメストリあス, Amesutoriasu) is a character in the Soul series of fighting games. He has sworn a blood oath to destroy Soul Edge forever, no matter the cost. Amestrius made his first appearance a secondary antagonist in Soulcalibur and has since returned in every game in the main series. What lies in his soul is Sorrow.
