Daniel Brocklebank (born 21st December 1979 in Stratford-upon-Avon) has appeared on Coronation Street since December 2014 in the role of Billy Mayhew. He started his professional acting career at the age of fourteen and went on to receive private tuition at LAMDA outside of school and gained a teaching qualification in drama. In 1996 he moved to London and completed a two year post graduate musical theatre course at the Redroofs Theatre School and was permitted to work during this time in order to pay off fees.
