The back-buttoned bodice is fitted with darts. A jumper effect is created in front by a yoke trimmed with an embroidered or self ruffle. The motif is repeated on the armhole edge and the sleeve is short and puffed. The high neckline is bound. The gathered skirt has a continuous lap back opening and joins to the bodice at the natural waistline. Two pockets trim the skirt.
