The Economic War is the ten year period after the Lynx War that paralleled the Pax Economica. While it did not necessarily equate to peace, it was the time where the corporations asserted themselves. Working on developing their power and profits while not involving themselves in a full-scale conflict, the period saw considerable combat. It was also the first time where Arms Forts made their appearance. The attack on the Arteria facilities and the introduction of the reactionary group ORCA noted the end of the Economic War.
