In July of 2886, Serena Vos Van Til was elected to the Senate. Following the resignation of Jennifer Moon, Van Til became Secretary General of the Social Democrats. In her first campaign for President, she won 0.06%. She won roughly the same amount of votes four years later. In August 2934, Van Til was elected President and saw her party win control of the Senate. She quickly announced that she would step down as leader before the end of her term. In August 2936, Serena Vos Van Til nearly established a monarchy in Baltusia. The vote was defeated by a single vote.
