Buena Vista Apartments is a halfway house for pedophiles, located in an apartment complex located in Panorama City in Los Angeles. On 3 October 2011, LAPD cold-case detectives David Chu and Harry Bosch visited the Apartments to interview Dr. Hannah Stone concerning one of her patients, Clayton Pell. Bosch returned the next day to interview Pell about a man that he referred to as Johnny.
