Herci Santare was a legendary Jedi Master in the New Jedi Order during the years after the Yuuzhan Vong War. Herci was born in 38 ABY to a poor family on Dantooine. His father, Jocoyoso, was a unsuccessful merchant who had very few business orders. His mother, Lorraine, stayed home to take care of him and his sister, Caraina. Herci was able to go to school where his teachers noticed that he was a very bright and intelligent student.
