The Battle of Xerxes was a light conflict in 37 ABY. After Bryn Fulcron's disappearance at Hapes, Jaina Solo defied expectations and united the Crusaders in an effort to take down Tarc Rethcoe. They met on the planet Xerxes. There the Crusaders were soundly defeated, being pushed back into a small cafe on the north side of Xerxes' capital. Jaina Solo decided to "go out with a bang", leading the Crusaders out into battle again. When they arrived, nearly the entire Red Dawn force had been destroyed by Jacen Solo and the returning Bryn. Tarc Rethcoe escaped unharmed.
