Spike Stickle was a young male hedgehog who was the brother of Ferdy, Coggs, and Posy. He was the son of Ben and Goody Stickle. Spike and his sister Posy were very fond of Skipper Warthorn's brother, Riverwyte, who played with them and whom they dubbed "Uncle Mask". They never knew he had been killed by Tsarmina because the otter's dying wish was that they be told he had simply moved away. Spike and Posy occasionally masqueraded as their brothers in order to fool Tsarmina.
