Montalban is best known for his performance in ABC/Disney's telepic of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella as Prince Christopher, opposite Brandy as Cinderella. He reprises that role in a stage version of the musical (see Cinderella) with Deborah Gibson and then Jamie-Lynn Sigler, appearing in Broadway plays Pacific Overtures and The King And I, off-Broadway in Two Gentlemen of Verona and The Romance of Magno Rubio, Sgt. Valera in The Great Raid, Raul in American Adobo, and guest starred in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (Season 8, Episode 20: "Annihilated").
