Copperfaces were a group of about a dozen or so large, muscular warriors within the Ganetok clan of the Awl, who were the close companions of the Ganetok war leader, Hadralt. They were referred to as 'Copperfaces' because they routinely painted their faces so as to make them appear as though they were covered in copper-colored scales, a practice meant to emulate the actual red-scaled mask of the exiled Awl, Redmask.
