Michel Vial is a French co-driver. From 1973, he was firstly co-driver for Jean-Pierre Nicolas and then Jean-Luc Therier. Driving an Alpine-Renault A110, he and Nicolas won their first event in 1973 in the Tour de Corse. After switching to Therier, Vial recorded a second victory, also in Corsica, driving a Porsche 911 SC. However Therier and Vial would often be plagued by retirements, whether it be that their cars suffered problems or if Therier had an accident, however on occasions where they did finish, it would be in the top 10.
