The Scottish League Select was a team assembled by the Scottish Ice Hockey Association to play international matches, mostly against English opposition. The club was selected from a pool of Scottish National League players, but deemed to be weaker than a full national side. The Select team was first formed in 1932 to embark on an eight-game tour of England, starting on January 1 and concluding on the 9th. It went on to play numerous other matches in the coming years.
