The Hjimi were a telepathic sentient species that inhabited the planet Hjim. They were a technologically advanced race and were responsible for developing space travel within the system. They managed to launch a shuttle to X-Nias and made contact with the Xians. They were later conquered by the Xian dictator Zhar, during the Xian Conquest. A couple decades later, the Liberators traveled to Hjim to discover that the majority of Hjimi were in hiding at the Hjimi Sanctuary, a rock canyon surrounded by a Force bubble created by Ysalamari. They were freed from captivity by Tesh Vohore and agreed to house the Liberators as they fought the Xians along with the other natives to the system, the Yimis. They also supplied the Liberators with new technology during the conflict.
