Professor Burben is the brother of Professor Grizwold, even though they have different surnames. He was first mentioned in "Mountain of Kikatchu - Part 1" where he sought brave adventurers willing to risk their lives in pursuit of history. In answer to his request, Xephos and Honeydew travelled with him. Professor Burben's accent (which is very similar to his brother's) is now know to be a regional accent from the region of Kikatchu in Minecraftia, which is also the original home of his brother.
