A Kig-Yar of grand agility and perhaps grand insanity, Amer-D-yar was one of the many children of the Jackal Myr-D-yar and the Skirmisher Bor-D-yar. She was always considered an incredibly deadly Kig-Yar, much like the rest of her family. Unlike most of the D-yar's, Amer was mentally unstable which she had to deal with all of her life, albeit she did deny it in an attempt to stabilize it. When her brother Kor-D-yar was killed by Rochelle-108 in 2553, she became severely depressed and became known as the Eayn Slasher and went on a vengeance driven murder spree on Eayn for almost 20 years.
