Garthtown was a large city on planet Izar with a population, as of 2366, of 600 million. It was home to the Garthtown Public Library, as well as a Starfleet base on the outskirts of town. In 2366, Starfleet Lieutenant Dar Ableen murdered two women in Garthtown: residents Marianne Getreu and Kelly Fleet. (SCE eBook: Security) Garthtown is presumably named for Garth of Izar.
