Darryl "Welsh-Fireman" McDonald was a member of the UNSC Marine Corps and an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, during the Human-Covenant War, he served under the command of Major Silva Antonio Silva and 1st Lieutenant McKay Melissa McKay's command, in Fireteam Victor a squad led by Staff Sergeant Stacker Stacker during the battle of Ballast, McDonald partook in the Fall of Reach, Installation 04, and as well as fought alongside Stacker numerous of times, into the Battle of New Mombassa and Installation 05 where he was captured but later saved, and the battle of Installation 00 as well, McDonald survived after the war,
