The Aes Sedai are an organization of female channelers. They are bound by the Three Oaths on the Oath Rod. They are divided into seven Ajahs. The head of the Aes Sedai is the Amyrlin Seat, assisted by her Keeper of The Chronicles. They have an ageless look to their faces. They are based in the White Tower, in the island city of Tar Valon.
