Simplicity 1391; 1940s; WOMEN’S ONE-PIECE DRESS: The button-front bodice features a notched collar and soft gathers at the lower edge. A shoulder yoke releases fullness in front and back bodice. The skirt has a center front inverted pleat and is seamed at either side of center front and back. In Style I, the bodice front is scalloped and the sleeves are short. Style II features bishop sleeves and a breast pocket. Top stitching outlines collar, front edges of bodice, pocket and wrist bands.
