General M Mazur was the first and only President of the People's Democratic Soviet Republic of Strathclyde. Following the establishment of a communist government, General M Mazur was elected as the nation's President. Mazur was the constitutionally-mandated president-for-life of Strathclyde, and was a member of the Communist Party of Strathclyde. He was also the Strathclydian Ambassador to the United Socialist Alliance. On 8 August 2012, he proclaimed the People's Democratic Soviet Republic of Strathclyde at Kilmarnock, on behalf of the SPLF.
