At Mary Margaret and Emma's apartment, Emma is calmly eating a bowl of cereal whilst she listens to a weather forecast on the television - the meteorologist announces that there is to be a storm later that day. Mary Margaret comes rushing into the kitchen area, brushing her teeth and getting dressed simultaneously. She puts on her shoes and then spits the toothpaste into the kitchen sink, complaining that she's late. Emma assures her it's only 7:10, so she has plenty of time to get to school. Mary explains she needs to be there are 7:15 to help the children make volcanoes for a science fair. She then rushes out of the apartment. ("7:15 A.M.")
