RMMS Gryphon's Pride was a freighter registered in the Star Kingdom of Manticore. In 1878 PD, the ship was on a transport mission in the Silesian Confederacy when it was boarded by pirates who massacred the crew of sixteen and took off, only to be chased by the RMN heavy cruiser HMS War Maiden. A prize crew commanded by Lieutenant Elvis Santino took the Gryphon's Pride back to Manticoran space. (HHA3.1: MMH)
