by user False Prophet Sen. Norm Coleman, (R) Minnesota, was absent from the vote on the Iraq funding bill a few weeks back. The reason? His dad was at the Mayo Clinic and was extremely ill. Good excuse, right? No. You see, no one knew about that untill a couple of days ago. That cannot happen for something as important as the Iraq spending bill that could have set a time table for withdrawl from Iraq. As a senator, you have people working for you that's sole purpose is to tell the media minnute by minnute what your day will involve. It just doesn't make sense. __NOEDITSECTION__
