Overall Flint is a very relaxed person who while not adventuring likes to take up time by fishing and every time he catches a fish he puts it on display not matter the size of the fish and, thought most of the time the fish is tiny and Flint is still proud but is often annoyed when Danny's sword, Kazu, eats the fish. Most of the time Flint can remain care free and happy even when excited by an adventure but when an enemy threatens the livelihood of people he likes then he can become more serious although this rarely lasts long as he soon starts enjoying the fight and it completely subsides just before or just as he beats an opponent.
