The Explorator-class Exploration Vessel was built specifically for the expansion of the Black Star Confederacy. Although not an actual warship, the class was capable of dealing with vast numbers of enemy fighters without support, due to its armament of 20 turreted quad laser cannons. In 17 ABY, it was updated with an antimatter reactor and a BioComp.
