In the early 2370s, Ensign Prynn Tenmei was assigned to the Mjolnir following her graduation from Starfleet Academy. (DS9 - Worlds of Deep Space Nine novel: The Dominion: Olympus Descending) In mid-2376, the Mjolnir transported Admiral Akaar and Councillor zh'Thane to Bajor, but first the vessel stopped at Deep Space 9. The Mjolnir was supposed to base at DS9 for defense, but was three weeks early. The Mjolnir was re-assigned to another mission, and the USS Gryphon took over the Mjolnir's assignment.
