SAT.1 Frühstücksfernsehen is a breakfast television news and talk show broadcast on German television network SAT.1 since 1987. To promote the release of Die Muppets, the show welcomed Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy as guests in the studio on January 20, 2012. Host Simone Panteleit talked extensively about the film with the duo. Toward the end of the interview, she sneakily stole more than just a few kisses from the frog, with the pig suspecting something was going on, but merely delivering a few warnings.
