Dodge refers to an equipment setup that seeks to maximize a character's Dodge bonus (DB) and, to a lesser extent, Parry bonus (PB), in order to maximize their Defense so as to avoid being hit. A high DB is also needed to avoid being Bashed. Generally regarded as one of the most difficult equipment choices in the game, a top dodge setup can nevertheless make a character nearly unhittable in many circumstances.
