Treasure Shell is a limited Rare Gem in Bejeweled Blitz. It is an orange gemstone that resembles a scallop shell. When the player begins a game with Treasure Shell activated, a special starting layout appears. The configuration includes unique orange gems that resemble scallop shells. A shell functions identically to a Flame Gem, except a seashell clears 13 gems in a 5×4 shell-shaped pattern instead. The base value for clearing a seashell is 4,250 points. While Treasure Shell is active, seashells replace random orange gems throughout the game, and Flame Gems created using orange gems become shells instead.
