The Philippine frogmouth (Batrachostomus septimus), is a species of frogmouth that is found throughout the Philippine archipelago. It is common in lowland forests and maturing second growth. Little information is known about the bird. It feeds on grasshoppers, cicadas, crickets and beetles.
