The Alliance of Free Colonies, also called the Alliance, was a group of anti-UNSC Rebels formed in the year 2511. The group was defeated and dissolved in 2538, after only fifteen years of operation. The group was reformed in 2550 by a rogue UNSC General, Mike Townes, and a survivor of the original Alliance, Alexis Granger. The Alliance was responsible for several attacks on UNSC Forces on the planets in the Rykan System, and several attacks to major UNSC Mining facilities and Manufacturing plants in the Sol System.
