The national anthem of Vanuku is called Oh, Vanuku!. The music piece was written by Antonius van Amsteren in 1922. It was originally a piece without lyrics, though the name has always been Oh, Vanuku!. The intention of van Amsteren was to make the patriot inside every Vanukuian surface. He wrote this piece to combine all patriotic feelings of all Vanukuians. Later people started to add lyrics fitting to the piece, using the song for their sport teams, political parties and more. It was in 3209 that the fascist regime of the Volk en Vrijheid party introduced the song as the national anthem. From 3209 to 3300 this version of the anthem was used by Vanuku. It was in 3300 that the new government of the Imperial Union found it necessary to edit the anthem to fit with the current political situa
