Hoverboards were like skateboards, but could hover above the ground. They had automatic stabilisers and could move at breakneck speeds. Amy bought Rory several hoverboards. These were left behind after they returned home and the Eleventh Doctor, Rachael Peterson and Louie Rollins used them to quickly get to a warehouse at the other side of town.
