Frances Istilah al-Malik (born March 30, 1972), more commonly known as Frances Istilah, is a Lovian diplomat and politician, serving as the Kings State Secretary for Transportation and Infrastructure since July 7, 2014. Previously, she served as the Chief-of-Staff to the Lovian Ambassador to Syria, from August 3, 2010 to January 17, 2012, when the Embassy in Syria was formally closed due to the intensified fighting apart of the Syrian Civil War. Simultaneous to her service as Chief-of-Staff, Istilah performed many other duties within the office of the Embassy.
