Chimly was one of the children held below the Grand Temple of Quaint to keep them safe from the unhealthy influence of the outside world. While some children rejected the outer world as dirty, disease-ridden, and violent, Chimly was reprimanded for asking Imid Factallo and Elas Sil what the world was really like.
