Buller was drafted by the New Rotterdam Orange Sox in 1942, being taken 2nd in the fifth round and being drafted 66th overall. In 1952, he signed a three-year extension with the Orange Sox for ƒ65,000 per year. In 1954, Buller signed a five-year extension with Lambton Quay for ƒ72,500 per year. In 1959, Buller would sign a contract extension which paid the slugger ƒ227,700 per year and a series of two-year contracts with New Rotterdam in 1963. After his contract expired in 1967, Buller would finish his career on a two-year contract with Lambton Quay.
