The 1977 Talladega 300 was a Late Model Sportsman national championship event held at Talladega Superspeedway on April 30, 1977. Ray Hendrick grabbed his only victory of the year, disposing off Randy Tissot in the waning laps. Eventual season champ Butch Lindley elected not to compete in the race.
