The story is told from the perspective of Travis Mayweather, while he is serving on the Enterprise (NX-01). On June 24, 2154, Mayweather is in bed, asleep. He is suddenly thrown into a completely alien environment. There is a woman speaking Russian to him, Yekaterina Petrova. And there are two representatives, male and female, from the Klingon, Andorian, Vulcan, Orion and Xindi-sloth species.
