The Duel on Greater Marianas was a duel between two Jedi and an Emperor's Shadow Guard on Greater Marianas in 9 BBY. After locating two Jedi who survived Order 66, Guardsman Vacander Jax's Imperial Navy commandos burst into their house. However, they were all killed by the Jedi duo, who then fled. They lost Jax's shadow stormtroopers in the streets, but the guardsman himself tracked the two down. In the outskirts, he dueled both, and managed to kill the Master first. Not too long afterwards, Jax used lightning on his Padawan, who attacked in rage and fell to the dark side. Believing them to both be dead, the Shadow Guard left. However, Padawan Iguni survived and later redeemed herself, joining the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
