Dyra Corta, a waitress at a cantina on Ord Mandell, was a strong and beautiful woman although she was always to afraid or clumsy to show it. She always dreamed of a life of adventure and excitement and that was all given to her on one faithful day when an Ubese, Vanin Cor, met up with her after he went into the cantina she was working in and shot everyone inside because he wasn't served the drink he wanted. She was found by him sitting in a corner with her hands in her face crying. Unknown to anyone as to why he took her along, she soon became part of Vanin's group of spacers.
