The Teirasans were a sentient species from the planet Teirasa. When the Pius Dea-controlled Republic attacked Zarracina III--rendering it uninhabitable, the Teirasans apparently expressed anger at the Republic for this mundicide, causing the Republic to launch an offensive against Teirasa as part of the Twelfth Pius Dea Crusade.
