Purity of the Seven Thunders was an earth spell which allowed the shugenja to utterly destroy anything with the Shadowlands Taint in the area of effect. The toll of this spell on the caster was heavy, as he took damage for every creature destroyed in this way. If cast near the Shadowlands the spell would cleanse the land of taint.
