The 11th Infantry Regiment is a Systems Alliance Marine Corps detachment as part of the 6th Frontier Division. The 11th was used for dozens of different operations in it's history, from intercepting pirates on the edges of Alliance space to clashing with forces during the Eden Prime War. The 11th would later be a major unit in the Skyllian Campaign, a conflict between the Human Alliance and Batarian Hegemony, as it would engage batarians on several worlds and launch the final assault against them on .
