The Wight Road was an old track that linked the passes through the high ridges of the Bone Peninsula on Assail. The area along the road was only sparsely inhabited by the occasional farmer. Rumour held that a dangerous Bonewight, or Jotunfiend, lived beneath a bridge along the path. Presumably the road had been named for the creature said to inhabit it.
